Adult Intermediate Painting - Dec 2026

This introductory painting class is designed for adults with little or no previous experience. Students will explore foundational painting skills while working with a variety of media, including acrylic, watercolor, gouache, and more.

The class covers essential techniques such as color mixing, brushwork, layering, and composition in a supportive, step-by-step environment.

Each session builds confidence and creativity, allowing participants to experiment and discover their preferred medium while developing their personal style.

For Ages 18+

Adult Drawing - Dec 2026

Unleash your creativity and sharpen your skills in this relaxed, supportive drawing class designed for adults of all experience levels. Whether you’re a beginner exploring the basics or a practiced artist looking to refine your technique, this course offers guidance in line, form, shading, perspective, and composition.

Each session includes hands-on instruction, demonstrations, and time for personal exploration using a variety of materials—graphite, charcoal, ink, and more. Enjoy the freedom to experiment and develop your own artistic voice in a welcoming community setting at the Bothwell Arts Center.

Students will experiment, take creative risks, and discover their unique artistic voice in a supportive, non-judgmental environment where the focus is on process, play, and the joy of making art.

StoryTelling Workshop

Got a story to tell? Discover the art of personal storytelling in this fun, welcoming, six-week class. Through simple exercises and supportive feedback, you’ll learn how to shape your story, trust your voice, and feel more comfortable sharing it out loud. In this course, you’ll take a real-life moment and turn it into a great 5-minute story.

No writing or performance experience needed—just a willingness to explore and share.

We’ll wrap up with a relaxed, supportive showcase where you can share your crafted, true, 5-minute personal story and cheer each other on.
