Unleash your creativity and sharpen your skills in this relaxed, supportive drawing class designed for adults of all experience levels. Whether you’re a beginner exploring the basics or a practiced artist looking to refine your technique, this course offers guidance in line, form, shading, perspective, and composition.

Each session includes hands-on instruction, demonstrations, and time for personal exploration using a variety of materials—graphite, charcoal, ink, and more. Enjoy the freedom to experiment and develop your own artistic voice in a welcoming community setting at the Bothwell Arts Center.

Class Dates: 4/10, 4/17, 4/24

Dive into the exciting world of visual storytelling in this in-depth, structured class designed for aspiring comic book artists and storytellers.

Students will explore every stage of the comic creation process—from concept development, character design, and world-building to storyboarding, penciling, inking, and coloring.

Through hands-on projects and guided critique, participants will learn how to combine expressive illustration with compelling narrative pacing, dynamic composition, and dialogue that brings stories to life.
