Spring Break Art at The Bothwell 2025 (Ages 6-15)

Spring Break Art at the Bothwell is inspiring and creative. Everyday a variety of media will be used: watercolor, acrylic, collage, mixed media, clay, charcoal, pencil and lots more! Perfect for the budding artist and the serious art students looking to stretch their depth of knowledge, techniques and portfolio pieces.
The Bothwell Arts Center has a relaxed and casual atmosphere, packed with materials and creativity. Art camp classes are taught by talented artists sharing their passion, skills, and creativity; inspiring and guiding the kids to unlock their artistic potential through fun and engaging activities.
Ages 6-15
Two classrooms - 15 students per classroom
Camp hours are 10am-3:30 pm. On Friday please plan on coming at 3pm for the Exhibition. We will hold the projects the kids do until Friday when you can see all the work on display before you take it home.
Please bring a packed lunch, and a water bottle.
The Bothwell provides all the art materials and a snack for the morning and afternoon.
If the weather permits, we will bring the kids out back to the park to have lunch break.
The Bothwell Arts Center is at 2466 8th Street, Livermore.
No refunds or credits unless the camp is canceled.

Our children's after-school drawing and painting class is designed for kids ages 7-15, welcoming all skill levels from beginners to more experienced young artists. In this fun and supportive environment, students will explore various techniques and mediums, including pencils, watercolors, and acrylics. Each session includes guided instruction, creative projects, and opportunities for self-expression. The goal is to build confidence, develop artistic skills, and foster a love for art.

These fun and exciting jewelry making workshops are crafted for beginners and skill building for intermediates. Instructors Peggy Kervin and Charlene Stark will lead you on your creative journey.
Create amazing and original earrings and pendants from square crystals and seed beads as taught by Peggy Kervin, director of the Livermore Art Association Gallery. All materials are provided - crystals, seed beads, fireline, tools. The class is perfect for beginner and intermediate jewelers.

Embark on an inspiring journey filled with a diverse range of artistic mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, collage, mixed media, clay, charcoal, pencil, and more. Whether you're a budding artist or a serious student looking to expand your skills and portfolio, our camp offers the perfect blend of guidance and exploration.
Nestled within the inviting ambiance of the Bothwell Arts Center, our camp fosters a relaxed and casual environment brimming with boundless creativity. Led by talented artists who are passionate about sharing their expertise, our classes inspire and guide children to unlock their artistic potential through enjoyable and engaging activities.
Open to ages 6-15, our camp ensures personalized attention with a maximum of 15 students per classroom across two vibrant spaces. Camp hours from 10am to 3:30 pm provide ample time for immersive learning, with a special Friday exhibition at 3pm to showcase the week's masterpieces before they're taken home.
Don't forget to pack a lunch and water bottle, while we provide snacks and all necessary art materials. If weather permits, we'll even enjoy lunch breaks in the nearby park, adding an extra touch of outdoor enjoyment to our creative endeavors.

Comic, Anime & Manga Art Camp June 16-20 2025 (Ages 6-15)

Join us for a fun-filled week of creativity at our Comic, Anime & Manga Workshop!
Designed for ages 6-15, this camp explores the exciting world of comics, anime, and manga through drawing, storytelling, and character design. Campers will learn to create their own original characters, develop dynamic panels, and experiment with inking and coloring techniques. With hands-on guidance from experienced artists, participants will bring their ideas to life while discovering the unique styles and storytelling traditions of Japanese manga and Western comics. Whether a beginner or an aspiring artist, every camper will leave with a mini comic or manga of their own!
