Our children's after-school drawing and painting class is designed for kids ages 7-10, welcoming all skill levels from beginners to more experienced young artists. In this fun and supportive environment, students will explore various techniques and mediums, including pencils, watercolors, and acrylics. Each session includes guided instruction, creative projects, and opportunities for self-expression. The goal is to build confidence, develop artistic skills, and foster a love for art.

Artopia offers a dynamic art class experience for middle schoolers, promoting individuality and creativity. The curriculum spans various artistic mediums, encouraging students to express themselves authentically. The program goes beyond traditional education, inspiring imagination and critical thinking through hands-on projects. With a focus on building a supportive community, Artopia allows students to share and learn from one another, fostering confidence in their artistic journey.
Artopia is an engaging and dynamic art class designed specifically for middle schoolers, fostering a vibrant environment where individuality, creativity, and self-expression take center stage. In this innovative program, students are encouraged to explore and celebrate their unique artistic voices, providing a platform for them to express themselves authentically. Artopia goes beyond traditional art education by embracing a wide range of artistic mediums, from painting and drawing to sculpture and mixed media, allowing students to discover their preferred modes of creative expression.
The curriculum of Artopia is carefully crafted to inspire imagination and critical thinking, empowering students to develop their artistic skills while expressing their thoughts and emotions. Through hands-on projects and collaborative activities, participants not only refine their technical abilities but also gain a deeper appreciation for the diverse world of art. Artopia creates a supportive community where students can share their creations, learn from one another, and build confidence in their artistic journey. The class aligns with the California Arts Standards and is taught by an instructor John Iacono who has a California Teaching Credential K-8.

Pixel Pioneers: Digital Art Class for teens Dec.

Our teen art class focuses on mastering Procreate on digital devices, offering hands-on guidance to create stunning digital artwork. Participants will learn essential techniques and tips, allowing them to bring their creative visions to life with confidence and skill. Apple devices recommended; limited availability of devices on loan available.
Winter Break Art Dec 30&31, 2024 and Jan 2&3 2025 (Ages 6-15)

Join us for ART at the Bothwell and feed your child’s creative side.
The camp runs Monday & Tuesday Dec. 30&31, 2024 and Thursday & Friday Jan. 2&3, 2025 - children are to pack a lunch and bring a water bottle.
Bothwell will provide all of the art materials and a snack in the morning and the afternoon.
No refunds or exchanges unless the camp is cancelled.
Class Capacity is 15. 2 Classrooms are available - 30 students total.
