Summer Art Camp July 7-11 2025 (Ages 6-15)

Welcome to Summer Art at the Bothwell, where creativity flourishes in a welcoming and professional environment!
Embark on an inspiring journey filled with a diverse range of artistic mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, collage, mixed media, clay, charcoal, pencil, and more. Whether you're a budding artist or a serious student looking to expand your skills and portfolio, our camp offers the perfect blend of guidance and exploration.
Nestled within the inviting ambiance of the Bothwell Arts Center, our camp fosters a relaxed and casual environment brimming with boundless creativity. Led by talented artists who are passionate about sharing their expertise, our classes inspire and guide children to unlock their artistic potential through enjoyable and engaging activities.
Open to ages 6-15, our camp ensures personalized attention with a maximum of 15 students per classroom across two vibrant spaces. Camp hours from 10am to 3:30 pm provide ample time for immersive learning, with a special Friday exhibition at 3pm to showcase the week's masterpieces before they're taken home.
Don't forget to pack a lunch and water bottle, while we provide snacks and all necessary art materials. If weather permits, we'll even enjoy lunch breaks in the nearby park, adding an extra touch of outdoor enjoyment to our creative endeavors.
Please note our policy: refunds or credits are only available in the event of camp cancellation.

3D & Sculpture Art Camp July 2025 (Ages 6-15)

Unleash your creativity in our 3D & Sculpture Art Camp!
Designed for ages 6-15, this hands-on camp explores the exciting world of three-dimensional art using a variety of materials, including clay, wire, paper mâché, found objects, and more. Campers will learn fundamental sculpture techniques such as carving, modeling, assembling, slab and coil building while creating unique projects inspired by contemporary and traditional sculptors. With plenty of opportunities for experimentation, this camp encourages imagination, problem-solving, and artistic expression in a fun and supportive environment.

Step into a world of imagination at our Mythical Creatures & Fantasy Art Camp!
Designed for ages 6-15, this camp explores the art of fantasy illustration, world-building, and storytelling. Campers will bring dragons, unicorns, mermaids, and other legendary creatures to life through drawing, painting, and mixed media techniques. They’ll learn to design their own fantasy landscapes, create magical character portraits, and experiment with different artistic styles inspired by folklore, mythology, and fantasy literature. Perfect for young artists who love storytelling and adventure, this camp blends creativity with hands-on artistic exploration!

Each session will focus on developing key artistic skills such as composition, shading, color theory, and perspective, all while encouraging personal expression and creativity. Get creative and explore!
