Adult Beginning Painting Summer Workshop - June
with Cameron Songey
This introductory painting class is designed for adults with little or no previous experience. Students will explore foundational painting skills while working with a variety of media, including acrylic, watercolor, gouache, and more.
The class covers essential techniques such as color mixing, brushwork, layering, and composition in a supportive, step-by-step environment.
Each session builds confidence and creativity, allowing participants to experiment and discover their preferred medium while developing their personal style.
All materials are provided.

Jewelry Making Workshop - June 2026

Wire-Wrapped Shells
Come see our beach-combings and use them for hand-made jewelry. Charlene Stark from the Livermore Art Association Gallery will teach you how to wrap these shells to make earrings and necklaces.

Stop-Motion Animation Camp for Middle and High Schoolers
with Thomasin Dewhurst
Ages: 11 - 18
Join us for three exciting days of creativity, storytelling, and hands-on filmmaking! Students will design and build their own miniature sets using cardboard or papier-mâché, sculpt original puppets from plasticine, and develop a unique storyline. They’ll then bring their ideas to life by creating stop-motion animation scenes, learning basic editing techniques, and completing their very own short film.
Students should bring a fully charged cell phone or similar device with a camera.
